Ski Pass / Ski Club Update:
In an effort to stay informed and to quell misinformation that is circulating, the
Vernon PAL ski club and pass sale info is as follows:
Season pass purchase:
After discussions with our liaison from Mountain Creek, there will be a change in the
process for Vernon residents purchasing passes and enrolling in the ski club. The Vernon PAL will not be selling the passes. Mountain Creek will be hosting a community event in early
November (exact date to be determined) which, once attended, will provide deep discounts for on-line season passes for VERNON residents only. The prices have not yet been finalized, but they
plan to be substantially similar to last year's prices. These will be the best prices available for Vernon residents.
Ski Club:
Unless state guidelines change, ski clubs will be permitted this year. Vernon
students in 3rd thru 12th grade enrolling in the ski club will be required to register directly through the Vernon PAL. Information on this process will become available soon, and the $30 fee
for this should remain the same or substantially similar as it has in recent years.
Our
School Ski/Snowboard Club Program is held at Mountain Creek and runs for SIX WEEKS. The program is available to students in grades 3 through 12. Vernon PAL will transport the students
directly after school to Mountain Creek by school bus. Students MUST BE signed out by a parent/guardian at Mountain Creek Red Tail Lodge NO LATER than 8:00PM. The Ski/Snowboard Club will

Dinner at the Moutain: As most of you know, Mountain Creek did not offer food vouchers for this snow season. Also, a lot of you alerted us to the fact that the mountain
has now gone cashless. Some good news....there will be a cash pay option for ski club students only! So you can either send cash, a prepaid card, or a prepared meal to ski club with your
child.
